DIFFERENT SOUNDS FOUNDATION (2008-2010)

The aim of the Foundation was to undertake actions for the benefit of culture, art, artistic education, protection of cultural heritage and rapprochement of Central Europe through integration of artists.
Foundation fulfiled its aims by:
* funding and organising festivals, exhibitions, theatre performances, concerts and artistic workshops within and beyond the borders of the country,
* organizing and funding conferences, workshops and seminars, fairs, auctions, events and competitions within and beyond the borders of the country,
* supporting and promoting artistic enterprises,
* funding artistic scholarships and prizes for variety of artists fulfilling aims of Foundation,
* funding and spreading popularized, informative and editorial activities based on the aims of Foundation,
* executing commissioned national tasks based on the aims of Foundation.
‘Kobaltowa Muza’ was awarded annually to outstanding musicians for their contribution to art’s development and improvement. In 2008 the award was granted to Osjan, composing of Jacek Ostaszewski, Radek Nowakowski and Wojciech Waglewski. The award was also granted to Bartek ‘Boruta’ Łęczycki who was awarded as remarkable artist of young generation. In 2009 the award was granted to Motion Trio, composing of Janusz Wojtarowicz, Marcin Gałażyn and Paweł Baranek. In 2010 it went to Voo Voo, Gaba Kulka and Darek "Filek" Filozof.
The foundation stoped existing altogether with the death of Mirek Olszówka, its chairman.
